Definitions & Examples
- Discrimination: Any adverse employment action taken based on a protected characteristic rather than job-related qualifications.
- Harassment: Unwelcome conduct (verbal, physical, or visual) that creates a hostile or offensive work environment.
- Sexual Harassment: Includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
Complaint & Investigation Procedure
- Employees should report incidents of discrimination or harassment to management.
- Investigations will be handled promptly and confidentially.
- Retaliation against employees who report misconduct in good faith is strictly prohibited.
