When the office receives a lead by phone or email from a buyer or seller seeking an agent, the Referral Coordinator will assign it based on the agent’s completion of the Referral Opt-In and Area Preferences form and the lead’s specific needs.
Sotheby’s International Realty Referral Program
Agents must opt in to receive referral lead assignments from the Sotheby’s International Realty Network Referral Program. By opting in, agents agree to a 35% referral fee, with 25% paid to the referring company and 10% to Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty. This fee applies only to referral leads assigned through the program and does not affect broker-to-broker referrals resulting from direct relationships with Sotheby’s International Realty agents in other markets. Agents are free to negotiate their own referral fees in those cases.
Once a lead is assigned, the agent is responsible for providing the Referral Coordinator with periodic updates on its progress. Leads may not be transferred to another agent.
To participate, agents must complete the Referral Opt-In and Area Preferences form.
