Office Use
Our office hours vary, but you are welcome to use the office at any time. You have been provided a key and a unique security system code, which may be used at all office locations. If you are in the office outside of regular hours or when staff is not present, you are responsible for securing the premises before leaving.
While in the office outside regular hours or without staff present:
- Keep all exterior doors locked, except when letting in a customer.
- Do not allow customers to wander unaccompanied.
- Secure valuables and be mindful of their placement.
- If you feel uneasy about someone’s presence or intentions, do not hesitate to call the police or use the security system’s panic button.
Before leaving, the last person in the office must:
- Confirm they are the last person present.
- Lock all exterior doors.
- Turn off breakroom appliances, such as coffee makers and toaster ovens.
- Turn off all lights, except those noted on switchplates.
- Arm the security system.
Reporting Security Concerns
Report any of the following to management immediately:
- Suspicious activity at the office or a worksite.
- Lost keys or other critical company property.
- A shared or compromised security code.
If an intrusion occurs and the office was not properly secured, we will review security footage and system logs to determine who was last in the office. If necessary, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
