Vacationing
Agents are encouraged to plan vacation time whenever it works best for them. If an agent will be unavailable to take calls or respond to emails for an extended period, it’s a good idea to arrange for a colleague to cover critical business matters. To ensure a smooth transition, agents should share their coverage plans with our staff, including who will be handling their business, when they plan to return, and the best way to reach you in case of an urgent matter.
For agents with active listings or pending transactions, introducing all involved parties to the covering colleague can help maintain continuity. If a compensation arrangement is made, putting it in writing and sharing a copy with management is recommended. Many agents also choose to simply return the favor when needed.
