Our company does not allow retaliation against anyone who speaks up about discrimination or takes part in an investigation, hearing, or legal process related to discrimination. This means that no one can punish or mistreat you for reporting or opposing discrimination or harassment in the workplace.
How to Report Retaliation
If you believe you have been retaliated against for reporting discrimination or for being involved in a discrimination-related investigation, you should report it to management as soon as possible. You can make a complaint in writing or verbally. Your complaint should include as many details as possible, such as:
- The names of the people involved
- Any witnesses
- Any documents or evidence that support your claim
What Happens After You Report
- Management will investigate all complaints thoroughly and fairly.
- The company will review the situation and determine whether retaliation occurred.
- If retaliation is found, the company will take appropriate action to correct the situation and prevent it from happening again.
- Anyone found responsible for retaliation may face disciplinary action, including possible termination.
- The company will inform you that steps have been taken to address the issue.
