Independent Contractor Agreement Policy

Real estate agents affiliated with Scenic Sotheby's International Realty operate as independent contractors, not employees. As such, agents:
- Are responsible for managing their own business activities, including scheduling, marketing, and client interactions.
- Must comply with all contractual obligations outlined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.
- Are responsible for their own tax obligations, including income and self-employment taxes.
- Must maintain their own insurance coverage as required by law or company policy.
- Shall not represent themselves as employees of Scenic Sotheby's International Realty in any capacity.
- Are not entitled to company-provided benefits such as retirement plans or paid leave.
